What Can I Cook is currently a free web service. It does not take payments, place grocery orders, connect to health platforms or control kitchen appliances.
Using the service
You may browse without an account. If you create one, provide accurate information, keep access details secure and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. You must be at least 13; users under 18 should use cooking features with appropriate adult supervision.
Cooking and nutrition information
Recipes, timings, nutrition figures, substitutions and dietary filters are general information, not medical advice or a safety guarantee. Check labels, allergens, storage temperatures and doneness yourself, and seek qualified advice for medical diets. Content marked “under review” has not completed our rights, safety and kitchen-testing gates.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant the licence described in our UGC Licence. You must have the right to upload it and must not submit unlawful, unsafe, deceptive or infringing material.
Acceptable use
Do not attack, scrape abusively, bypass access controls, impersonate others, upload malware, manipulate ratings, harvest personal data or use the service to cause harm. We may remove content, limit access or close accounts when reasonably needed to protect users, rights holders or the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Otherwise, liability is limited to losses reasonably foreseeable from our breach and does not include avoidable loss caused by ignoring clear safety guidance.
Law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without removing any mandatory rights you have where you live. Material changes will be signposted before they take effect. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
