What Can I Cook policies
Copyright and Takedown Policy
Effective and last updated: 22 July 2026
Imported and community recipes with incomplete provenance remain outside the search index while rights are reviewed. A page being reachable does not mean its rights have been validated.
Submit a notice
Use the contact page and include: your name and contact details; the work you own; the exact WCIC URL; the material you believe infringes; why the use is unauthorised; and a statement that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
What happens next
We acknowledge complete notices, preserve an audit record, restrict access while a credible claim is reviewed, and contact the uploader where appropriate. Valid claims lead to removal or corrected licensing/attribution. Repeat infringement may lead to account closure.
Counter-notice and mistakes
If your content was restricted by mistake, reply with evidence of authorship, permission, licence or another lawful basis. We may restore it after reviewing both sides unless a legal restriction applies. Please do not knowingly make false notices.
