What Can I Cook policies
Accessibility Statement
Effective and last updated: 22 July 2026
We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the core pantry, search, recipe and guided-cooking journeys. This is a commitment and target, not a claim that every page already conforms.
What we support
Core flows are being designed for keyboard use, visible focus, screen-reader names, browser zoom, reduced motion, high contrast and touch targets. We test with automated checks plus VoiceOver and NVDA on representative journeys.
Known limitations
- Some older forms, dialogs and charts need better keyboard and screen-reader behaviour.
- Some user-submitted recipe images may have weak alternative text.
- Parts of guided cooking and offline recovery still require manual accessibility testing.
- Some legacy colour combinations and motion effects are being replaced.
Get help or report a barrier
Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, your browser and any assistive technology through the contact page. We will offer a reasonable alternative and prioritise reproducible blockers. We review this statement whenever a core journey is re-tested or a material limitation changes.
