Wilt the spinach in a pan, then drain and squeeze out all the excess water and chop.
Soften the chopped onion in a little butter, then mix with the spinach, crumbled feta, beaten eggs and chopped dill. Season with pepper.
Heat the oven to 190C. Brush a baking dish with melted butter.
Layer half the filo sheets in the dish, brushing each with melted butter and letting the edges overhang.
Spread in the filling, then fold over the overhang and top with the remaining buttered filo sheets, tucking in the edges.
Score the top into portions and bake for 35-40 minutes until deep golden and crisp. Cool slightly before cutting.
