Heat the oven to 170C and line a loaf tin with parchment.
Mash the bananas well in a bowl.
Beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the mashed banana, then fold in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt until just combined.
Pour into the tin and bake for 50-55 minutes until risen and a skewer comes out clean.
Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to cool completely.
