
Chinese barbecue pork glazed in a sticky, sweet-savoury five-spice and hoisin marinade.

Cut the pork into long strips about 4cm thick.
Mix the hoisin, soy, 2 tbsp honey, five spice, grated garlic and ginger. Coat the pork and marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Heat the oven to 200C. Place the pork on a rack over a roasting tin with a little water in the base.
Roast for 40-45 minutes, turning and basting with the marinade a couple of times.
Brush with the remaining honey and blast under a hot grill for a few minutes until caramelised and sticky.
Rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with rice and greens.
