Instructions

Soak the wakame in cold water for 5 minutes until softened, then drain.

Heat the dashi in a pan until steaming but not boiling.

Ladle a little hot dashi into a bowl, whisk in the miso paste until smooth, then stir it back into the pan. Do not boil once the miso is added.

Add the cubed tofu and wakame and warm through gently for 2 minutes.

Ladle into bowls and scatter with sliced spring onions to serve.
